ANALGIN, ANESTHETIC, SOPHARMA, TABLETS20, 500 mg ANALGIN

Ingredients: Each Analgin tablet contains Metamizole Sodium 500 mg.

Indications: Tablets: - Influence of pain syndrome of different origin: headache, toothache, neuralgia, neuritis, myalgia, trauma, burns, postoperative pain, phantom pain, dysmenorrhea, renal and biliary colic. - As an antipyretic agent in the complex therapy of acute inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, tracheitis and tracheobronchitis, infectious diseases.

Dosage regimen:

Tablets: It is administered orally. Adults 250 - 500 mg 2-3 times a day. Maximum single dose - 1 g. Maximum daily dose - 3 g. Children over 15 years of age Take ½ tablet 2-3 times a day. Children under 15 years of age Due to the lack of controlled studies in children under 15 years of age on the safety of metamizole, its use is not recommended in this age group. Metamizole should not be used for more than 3-5 days or in higher doses without consulting your doctor.

Contraindications:

Tablets: Hypersensitivity to metamizole and other pyrazolone derivatives; - Acute hepatic porphyria or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency; - Severe liver or kidney disease; - Haematological diseases, such as aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis and leukopenia; - Pregnancy and lactation; - Do not use in children under 15 years of age.

Special warnings:

Tablets: Continuous administration of metamizole requires monitoring of blood counts, including differential counts. - It should be used with caution in patients suffering from allergic diseases, patients with hypersensitivity to analgesics and NSAIDs.

Drug interactions:

Tablets: Blood monitoring, including differential counting, is required with long-term use of metamizole. - It should be used with caution in patients suffering from allergic diseases, patients with hypersensitivity to analgesics and NSAIDs. - Metmizole should be used with caution in patients treated with coumarin anticoagulants due to the potential risk of bleeding. - When co-administered, metamizole lowers cyclosporine plasma levels. - The effects of metamizole are potentiated by tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives, allopurinol. - Concomitant use of metamizole and chlorpromazine may cause hypothermia. - Chloramphenicol and other myelotoxic products increase the risk of adverse reactions to haematopoiesis. - Metamizole can be combined with atropine, hyoscyamine, other antispasmodics.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Tablets: Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Side effects:

Tablets: Blood and lymphatic system - changes in the blood picture (agranulocytosis, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia). The risk of agranulocytosis for Bulgaria amounts to 1.1 cases per 1 million patients taking metamizole for one week. - Immune system disorders - hypersensitivity reactions: urticaria, Quincke's edema, bronchospasm, hypotension, anaphylactic shock (especially after administration of metamizole parenterally or even orally in patients with hypersensitivity to the product). - Respiratory disorders - provoking an asthma attack. - Gastrointestinal disorders - nausea, loss of appetite. - Renal disorders - proteinuria, oliguria, polyuria, interstitial nephritis.

Dosage form and packaging:

Tablets: 10 tablets in a blister. 2 or 50 blisters in a box.
